Your visit to this site is welcomed and appreciated! I sincerely hope that you will find some of the things that I'll be sharing with you, interesting and beneficial. The purpose of this website is not to teach, judge nor condemn but to share some personal insights I have received through sincere prayer and study. I believe Scripture clearly testifies the importance of God's presence in our lives through His Spirit for our salvation. I believe that everyone that holds a belief that they are or will be "saved" on that Day of Judgment should closely consider these following words that was spoken by the apostle Paul, under the inspiration of God.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
What is this verse saying? Is it not saying that our salvation and resurrection is accomplished through God's Holy Spirit? You see, each one of us, in our own most quiet and private place in our heart must ask ourselves, do we truthfully have that same Spirit dwelling in us that dwelt in Christ Jesus? And what is the outcome if we don't? I sincerely believe that many do not place enough emphasis on the works of the Holy Spirit in their lives. When Stephen, a man full of the Holy Spirit, just prior to being stoned to death in the book of Acts, realized the resistance to God's Holy Spirit in those that thought they were Godly, he loudly proclaimed this most important observation. "You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you." Acts 7:51 (NKJV) For Stephen, I believe he realized that, historically to present, resistance to the Holy Spirit was birthed in the flesh of man and that same scenario is still evident today. This next Scripture testifies to the outcome of those that resist God's Spirit vs. those that are obedient to God's presence in their lives.
For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:13-14 (NKJV)
Notice how this Scripture identified those that are led by the Spirit of God, that they are sons of God. There are many beliefs that comfort the heart, but they're only giving a false assurance of salvation when they're not including the importance of one's seeking and one's obedience to the presence of God in their lives through His Spirit.
Therefore this website is centered on the works of God that is manifested through those that are His, through His Spirit. And it's my hope that the precepts that's imbedded in Scripture will inspire others to find a desire in their heart to seek for all the fullness and the richness of God in their lives. This website is not written in support or in opposition to any denominational preference but to share with all, the joy and comfort that I've found within the fullness of God. God has given all of us the freedom of choice which includes our freedom to chose the beliefs we wish to embrace. Simply put, the reason we believe the things we do, is because that is what we want to believe. The lives we live are the outcome of the beliefs we have chosen. But for those in Christ, they will always have a love for the truth, therefore their beliefs are going to be based upon the truths that God has revealed to them, through His Holy Spirit, rather than what's being taught that's pleasing to the flesh. I believe each individual has needs that may differ from others. Our needs are not all the same and as good parents that see and meet the differing needs of their children, I believe our heavenly Father also sees and does provide for the differing needs of His children. For my wife and I, we lost a beloved teenage son in a tragic accident and our lives was changed for ever. Our need was not to find religion but to find the presence of God and our Lord God has met that need. It took the healing power of Christ in our lives to overcome such a devastating loss and I want to share with all, the beliefs I have chosen that have been so remarkably powerful and rewarding in my life. Scriptures will support that God has always "been there" for those that set their heart to understand and humble themselves before Him.
Daniel 10:12. Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.
The apostle Paul recognized that individual understanding was not given by man but by the Lord.
2 Timothy 2:7. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
